Fundraising Events & Opportunities

NHS Bands offer many fun opportunities for our families and community to participate in fundraising! Our Evergreen, Spectacle & Crossroads concerts (and fundraiser) are performance opportunities to showcase the talents of our students. These are wonderful experiences that allow our entire community to enjoy music and support our programs. We hope you’ll join us!

Our Evergreen Concert and fundraiser in December is a celebration rooted in a sense of the everlasting. We welcome and make music with Eighth Graders from Sunset Middle School, so that they might be inspired to continue the legacy of musical excellence that NHS offers.

Our Spectacle Jazz Concert in March invites our NHS family and the surrounding community to take a closer look at the talent that flourishes within our walls. Our Left Hand Jazz Ensemble and Niwot All-Stars share the stage with professionals from a local band, who serve as mentors that nurture exploration and enjoyment of playing music.

Our Crossroads Concert in May enables NHS and members of our band family to show appreciation for and bid farewell to the graduating seniors in band, to celebrate the success of all NHS band students and showcase their talent, and to acknowledge the lifelong enjoyment that music provides.

In August, our NHS Band and Orchestra students participate in our annual Peach Sale — it’s our biggest fundraiser! Delicious organic, Palisade, CO peaches from Morton's Orchards.

Show your NHS Cougars (musical) spirit by ordering customized NHS Band gear! Sales information will be provided to students/families in the Fall. Be sure to order right away as this is a limited-time fundraiser!

Our community partners include local businesses willing to donate a percentage of their sales to support the bands while we bring them new customers. Dining for Dollars is an example — you can enjoy a night off from cooking and have our bands entertain you!

Are you crafty? A group of band students and band parent volunteers made these adorable hand-painted clothespin ornaments for our Evergreen Concert holiday fundraiser in 2019.

We truly appreciate your financial support! Our band donation box for cash and checks can be found in the NHS auditorium lobby (or any of our other performance locations) during all of our concerts.
